Website Under Development

This website is a temporary portal for information regarding the Lakeland Soccer Club. As a result of the pending club merger and the establishment of Lakeland FC, a new site is currently under design and development. The new site will soon be available for viewing.

Competitive Tryouts

Tryout dates for the competitive program teams have been set for the 2008-2009 season. The tryouts will take place May 27 - June 7. To view the specific dates, times and locations for various age groups, please visit our Competitive Tryouts section of the website.

Lakeland FC Coaching Staff

The coaching staff for the 2008/2009 Lakeland FC competitive program has been selected. You can view the coaching staff by going to the competitive section of our website (Coaching Staff).

Volunteers Needed

Volunteers are needed for the following club positions:

Age Group Coordinators or Directors for U6, U8, U10, U12, U14, U18 Boys and Girls, Field Scheduler, and Sponsorship Director for the Lake Parker Recreational League.

Club Merger

The Lakeland Soccer Club Board of Directors will be meet on May 21 to vote on the final approval of the merger between LSC and LHYSA. The new club, will be called Lakeland FC. You can look at the links for both tryout information and the list of coaches. The U9 through U12 age groups will continue much like they have in the past, with teams forming on both the North (Lake Parker) and South (Carter Road) Complexes, and there will be separate tryouts for those. However, the U13 through U18 age groups will be combining to form as many teams as possible for each level of play. Thus, some of the tryouts for those respective age groups are being moved back and forth between both locations during the tryouts. Please take note of time, date, and location changes throughout the tryout schedule.

Fields Closing

Due to maintenance on the fields, the Lake Parker Soccer Complex will be closed from May 12th until tryouts May 27th.
